Abby had her "Christmas Spruce" today, which was much overdue! She smells so much better and now she is ready and waiting for her Christmas presents...... She has already been sneaking in my closet sniffing around to see if there might be something for her. She knows her Christmas sock is in the closet and checks on it daily.
Next week she will be turning 10 years old. It is hard to believe. She is the best dog anyone could ever wish for. Perfectly obedient in every way, only wants to please us and truly is one of the family. She is so much fun -- she looks forward to going on walks, going bye-bye in the car which usually includes dropping Ryan off at school, then to the bank where she is treated to a bone, and then Sonic where they also keep bones ready for her. At Sonic if they are out of bones, she gets a tater tot! What more could you ask for? What a life! We love this dog and are happy she is part of our family. Our life would be empty without her.

You know you can always tell your a dog lover when you tear up at hearing that someone elses dog is turning 10! I remember when my puppies in the past hit 10 years old.. Its scary cuz its double digits but then you remember all the great memories. I CANT WAIT till I can have a dog who is "just another kid in the family". I love that you take her everywhere with you. haha. So fun.
She looks so cute-- all ready for christmas. you are lucky to have such a sweet dog!
gosh! I remember when you guys got her and she fit in Spencer's shirt pocket! so glad you had a dog so my kids could get their fix!!
Sarah, how are you!!!! I check your blog often and don't always get around to commenting. Your family looks great and I can't believe how big your kids are. It has been 2 years now since we moved and will always miss the Fairway Groves Ward!!! =) I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas!!
that was such a sweet post and tribute to such a sweet dog.
just moments ago i finished reading the book Marley and Me. if you haven't read it, you need to. i think all dog lovers should read it. and i think those who don't have a dog, after reading this book, will want one.
it was so heartwarming.
I can't believe sweet Abby is 10 already. Man, how these years have flown by. I love Abby so much too. I miss the times when we'd watch her when you guys went out of town.
And she really is the best dog anyone could ask for. I've never seen a better, more well-behaved dog.
I love that dog too. I tell Brynly she doesn't need a dog she gets to see Abby every week. man you got the cool blog going- i still can't figure out the cool backgrounds and music.
