After a long two days at the regional meet, Ryan finds himself qualified to swim in the 100 backstroke at the State Meet this year. He is so happy -- He has worked hard, and as a freshman, it is a great accomplishment. So....one more week of swimming with the Red Mountain Lions!
And what makes a mother more nervous that him swimming? -- it is being the counter during the 500. Is he on the right lap? Is he going to hit the swimmer in the head with the counter? Is he going to fall in? Too funny..
Good job Ryan!!!

Amazing! I bet he feels even more special because he is the only boy freshman at Shepherd who made it to state!
