Thank goodness we don't outgrow "good friends". I was able to spend the day with my good friend Dianne. We went to lunch to celebrate my birthday day this week, and then spent the afternoon at Chandler mall. We were purse shopping, looking for clothes to "update our look", and just out cruising the mall. We always have so much fun together, and today was no exception. We laughed, ate, drank diet coke, giggled, tried on clothes that were much to funny and just had fun. Everyone needs a friend to do things with that makes them feel like they are 25 again.
We ate at our favorite hangout.... FIREBIRDS! Yummy! We love that place and we always say, next time we will go somewhere different, but we always end up at Firebirds. The manager must have thought we really loved it, because he came over and gave us $10 giftcards to use on our next visit..... or maybe it was just the leftover birthday glow!

How fun. I love girl's get-togethers. I LOVE Firebird's too. Yum. I wish I was there now.
