I was treated to a fun night of stitches! Luckily, I have connections in the "stitch you up" business, and I avoided a trip to the ER/Urgent Care. Ryan and I were putting in a bolt in trundle bed (you know the old metal kind, that pop up with a spring?) and we were trying to steady it to put in the bolt, but somehow, the bed got loose and flew up and hit me in the jaw. My teeth snapped shut and I immediately thought, Man, i've broken all my teeth -- but then i put my hand to my lower jaw only to have blood trickle into my hand and my finger felt the hole that was left by the metal corner of the bed.
By 10:30 that evening, I was put back together with 6 stitches. The cut was pretty deep and Ray said you could see the bone. Needless to say -- I look like I've been beaten up, and it is pretty sore! What a fun way to spend an evening, however I don't recommend it!

Get an air bed-- it is less dangerous! I hope it is better soon!
Oh man, that's just awful. You are so lucky you didn't break your teeth. Did Ryan freak out that his mom was hurt? Hope you feel better soon.

Sarah, that looked painful. I'm so sorry. That also triggered a memory of when you gashed your knee open!! I think you were out walking. It is a good thing you have a hook up to someone who can sew you up =)
Also I saw you know Dallas and Jamie Lovell, I went to highschool with them. They are so sweet. How do you know them as well??
yea leah -- who could forget that knee? Jami used to live in our ward. She used to babysit for me too, and I am good friends with her mom...

Thanks SO much for coming and seeing us in the hospital. It meant so much to us. We love the present you got for Mya, and Ty LOVES the truck you got for him. We love you all more than words can say....
holy smokes Sarah what is the deal. i just heard you walked in while your house was being robbed!! what is going on. i would have totally freaked out, but i'm so glad you got out of there.
