It was Winter Formal this weekend.... The girls ask the guys on this dance. At the last minute ( a week before) Mary decided that she was going to go and asked her friend Russell to go. She asked him by decorating his car with tombstones and police tape, and a chalk body drawn on the sidewalk with a sign that read: "I"m dying to go to Winter Formal with you!" His response was the picture with the tombstone.... and is name was Russell York, thus the Russell Stover candies and York Peppermint patties!
They ended up eating dinner at our house, then the dance, then back afterwards for chocolate fondue....
They had a great time, everyone looked so nice. It sure makes you appreciate the choices of good friends that your children make. Mary has great friends, and they had a great time that night! I am so glad that I got to be a part of it!
