Some things just come natural to a dog..... like drinking in the toilet and helping clean the dishes....(we need to break the habit of hopping on the door, before long that won't be good.) I turned my back for a second yesterday, and there she was.
And the retriever is definitely coming out in her. Abby never as much as would pick up a sock, but our first Golden, Lacy was notorious for picking up every little thing on the floor. And Lacy one day got out and collected every neighbors paper from their driveway and deposited them on our front porch! Well, Maggie runs around, steals what ever she can find and takes it to her hiding place in the bedroom.... we call it "the stash". She hasn't torn anything up yet, just collecting. As you can see, it is mainly Mary's shoes, hmmmm, maybe that says what is left laying around.
She is little dolly, and we are sure enjoying her! Crazy little quirks and all!

she is so cute! i remember so well having to grab lacy before she got the neighbors papers! she was so sweet! maggie is too cute!
maybe mary should have to do a "job" for Maggie before she gets her stuff back. ha ha ha...
So is it bad if my son does the same things?! I don't know which is harder a dog or a boy!!!
Yes, I think the dishwasher has to work extra hard to get dog slime off of the plates once they lick them. And I hope Maggie does not fall accidently fall in the toilet. That is weird! My dogs have never done that! I keep the lid closed though--
she's just like emaline... playing in the toilet, standing on the dishwasher, carrying everything in sight to different locations.
