Each year that we have sent our kids to EFY (Especially for Youth, a week-long program for youth ages 14-18 with lots of activities and classes) the kids return from that spiritual boost with new found excitement and love for life and for those around them. This year was not exceptions, however both felt that the changes that had to be made due to the swine flu really effected the entire EFY experience. There was no intermingling between groups, no escorting, less intereaction with others. Mary went to the University of Utah, and Ryan went to Northern Arizona University. Both were able to spend time with best friends and still were able to "fill that spirtual cup". It is so worth it for these kids to have these experinces to strengthen their testimonies and build their relationships with others. The pictures are from Mary's EFY experience.... you wouldn't expect Ryan to take any photos now would you? Glad to have everyone home!

i'm interested to hear all about how the swine flu prevention affected efy. man it's an epidemic there in utah...yuck. i'm glad that mary had a good time...it must feel pretty good to all be together at last. that was a really, really long time!
