Best Friends..... FOREVER.

Every once and a while, you have a friend that you just click with. You think alike, you act alike, and you love this person so much you would do anything for them. That is how it is with one of my best friends, Joyce.... Since the day when we dropped our girls off at kindergarten together (these girls are also best friends), we have been joined at the hip. We laugh, we cry, we giggle, we can be silly and we really don't care. Last year when Joyce moved to Utah, we thought the world was going to end... but we still talk to or text each other almost daily and can't wait to call and tell each other when something special is happening. I was able to spend part of the week with my friend when I took Ryan to swim camp. It included yummy lunches, trips to the temple, tours of many church sites -- the printing presses, beehive clothing, the churches humanitarian operations, you name it, but the most fun of all was spent around the kitchen table, remembering all the fun times we have had through the years and how much we love being friends.

This week will take Joyce on yet another adventure.... to the country of New Zealand. Although it is hard to give up the texting and sending each other silly pictures on our phones, ... i have the new number programed into my cell phone and will still enjoy our frequent chats. (if we can figure out the time difference)

I love my best friend and even though the miles separate us, I know she loves me and I know that we will always be Best Friends Forever!

it also meant so much to me that both of you (and your husbands) were able to attend the sealing. john and i were both so touched to receive that kind of love and support from you guys...our dear, dear friends. love you :)

wow! what a new adventure! I love how "down to earth" Joyce is. always rescuing some animal and hiding them from Jim. What might she find in New Zealand? Yikes!

what a great little tribute to your dear friend. how important it is to have people like this in your life, i hope that i, too, can retain those friendships that i've made in the many, many years to come.

great post.
