I was at Girls Camp this past weekend and this little critter decided to take a visit to the camp.... on several occasions! He had a liking for coolers, trashcans, cupboards, and any kind of food he could get his little paws on! (His favorite was the Rocky Road Ice Cream left by one set of campers.) Due to his frequent visits, our camp experience in the woods was cut short and we had to come back to the valley and finish up at the Stake Center!
So to answer the age old question.... YES!!!! Bears do live in the woods!
