Today is my mothers birthday! My sister beat me to the punch by posting the most adorable baby photo ever of our mother on her blog. However, I found this picture of my my mother that appeared on the cover of a local magazine in Tulsa, Oklahoma back in the mid-50's. My mother has taught me so much over the years. She has sacrificed so much for her family. Doing without herself so that her children would have what they need. We never had a lot growing up, but we never wanted for anything and never went without. She is a great example to our family and we all love her dearly.
She is the "Cover Girl" in our family, and we are proud to call her Mom. Happy Birthday Mom!
